The stones

Real stones, chosen by hand

Every stone is chosen by hand at gem shows and from cutters I trust, and anything that isn't natural is noted on the listing.

The gold

Solid 14k gold, never plated

The clasp, the hand coiled french wire and the engraved signature tag are all solid gold.

The making

Knotted by hand on silk

A knot between every bead gives a soft drape and keeps each stone safe for a lifetime of wear.

The piece

One of one, made to fit

No two strands are alike, most sit around 18 inches, and I'm happy to make yours to a custom length.

About these pieces

Every necklace here starts with the stone. I hand pick natural gemstones at gem shows and from vendors I have known for years, and only once the stones are in my hands do I decide what each strand will become.

Each gemstone beaded necklace is hand knotted on silk, with a small knot between every stone so they never rub against each other and the strand drapes the way a fine necklace should, and then it is finished in solid 14k gold, from the clasp to the French wire to the engraved heart tag.

You will find opal necklaces, turquoise, aquamarine, sapphire, spinel, moonstone and more, and nearly every strand is one of one, so when it sells it is gone.
