Caring for Knotted and Beaded Gemstone Candy Necklaces
Share
Maybe you're wondering, "How do I care for a beaded gemstone necklace vs a knotted necklace?"
Is there a difference?
I'll break it down simply for you!
A beaded necklace and knotted necklace have aesthetic differences, however, they should be taken care of in the same fashion.
They are easy to care for, just remember these simple steps when wearing and storing your gemstone necklaces:
Don't get them wet. Water can stay inside the bead holes and degrade the wire or silk over time. However, if you do accidentally get them wet, simply lay your necklace on a dry, soft cloth. Don't tug or pull on it during this time (or anytime!).
Take your necklace off when working out, swimming, bathing, surfing, etc. I think you get the idea. Keep it dry and away from hazards.
If you choose to wear perfume or sun screen, apply these products prior to wearing your jewelry. Wait until it your skin is all the way dry.
Did you get chocolate on your beads? (Yes, I've seen this!) Don't worry, use the provided polishing cloth to gently wipe away any debris.
When storing your necklace, you can place it gently inside the box it arrived in or the jewelry bag, or lay it flat inside your jewelry box.
Proper care will keep your beaded gemstone necklace looking stunning for years to come! 😊

So unique and beautiful-with swirling greens and blues this boulder opal charm is the perfect reminder of a day at the beach. I can layer or wear alone and trust that since it is from Brittany, the craftsmanship won’t disappoint.
What I love so much about Brittany’s jewelry is how many different styles and stones you can choose from, but thay all have the same quailty craftsmanship and gorgeous end result. The aquamarines in this necklace are so beautiful and unique.
This pendant was a must-have for me as soon as I scrolled upon it. It just had a vibe to it, and I was lucky enough to not miss it. Pieces like this are all one-of-a-kind, and I’ve been wearing it daily. Everything is energy, and I believe this stone carries something magical. I hope you find yourself a little treasure too, at Brittany Myra Jewelry.
I’ve purchased multiple items (including both of these charms) from Brittany. She’s great to work with, and she even helped me design a custom bracelet once! That really was a fun experience and the bracelet is a one-of-a-kind piece that can’t be found anywhere else. Her jewelry is handmade, each piece unique in its own way, and special to have for yourself or to give as a gift.
