Grape Purple Amethyst Hand Knotted Necklace 14k Gold

Long before I ever made jewelry, I was collecting amethyst in Mount Shasta, and this strand brought me right back to that feeling. The color is a juicy, rich grape purple, and when you hold it up to the light you can see a whole range of purples moving through each bead. What stopped me most was the cutting. These are plump smooth rondelles that are evenly shaped, cleanly drilled, and graduated so smoothly from the clasp to the center that you can tell someone took their time with every one.

I hand knotted it on matching purple silk, leaving a little space between each bead so the light can pass through and the strand drapes softly, and finished it with my full signature set in solid 14k gold. At 17.5 inches, it rests just above the neckline of a blouse or button down, so it's easy to wear every day.
