Opal is the stone that never sits still, because the color moves and changes every time you do, so the opal you see in a photo is only one moment of it.

The opals here are natural, including Australian crystal opal with its bright, clear play of color and boulder opal that still sits in the ironstone it formed in, and each one is set or finished by hand in solid 14k gold.

Australian opals don't soak up water the way some opals do, so they hold their color for life with very little care.
